Just one year ago, NW only had one pilot station in Vezin-le-Coquet (35). The company’s rapid expansion is part of its vision to make electric mobility accessible in rural and suburban areas, thereby reducing the disparity between urban areas, which have good charging infrastructure, and rural areas, which have less. These first 100 stations are the first step towards establishing a comprehensive network of high-power charging stations nationwide.
Electric mobility for all…
NW aims to ensure the widespread availability of charging solutions throughout France while offering competitive rates. NW offers its customers unbeatable prices in Europe at just €0.30/kWh. For IECharge® station users, this equates to around fifteen euros for a full charge, providing a range of 300 kilometres depending on the vehicle model.
Made possible by French technological innovation…
This competitive pricing is made possible by a globally patented French technology that combines electricity storage with high-power electric charging. Each IECharge® station is connected to a JBox® electricity storage unit, which powers the vehicle batteries. Thanks to this system, the power grid is protected from any imbalances, even when multiple vehicles are charging simultaneously.
This rapid rollout is concrete proof of NW’s commitment to offering disruptive solutions to accelerate the transition to electric mobility.
With the launch of this 100th station, we have just reached a new milestone. We will continue to offer high-quality, innovative, and affordable solutions in local communities to make the energy transition accessible to everyone. This is just the beginning of a larger-scale rollout: by 2027, our IECharge® network will include 1,500 stations in France and internationally.”
