Our products
specification

Our products are designed for use in our various solutions. Specifications are detailed documents that outline the precise requirements, standards and attributes that our products must meet. These specifications are an essential reference for quality control, production, purchasing and procurement processes. At NW, we take a strategic approach to outsourcing and the selection of suppliers is subject to rigorous standards. Each of our products is unique and adaptable to new markets, making them difficult for competitors to replicate.

Our products are plug-and-play. This ease of installation is the result of our highly sophisticated technology. NW’s expertise is founded on a commitment to continuous improvement, an integrated approach and an in-depth understanding of the unique challenges of our industry, from design and installation to operation.”

Launch of new products

Our mantra is to standardise the launch of every new product. This involves creating specifications, terms of reference and requests for proposals, selecting integration partners, supporting the design process, and overseeing certification, prototyping, pilot projects and the launch of mass production. All these steps make the NW model more robust. Our dedicated and close-knit team consists of managers responsible for launching product lines and managers responsible for launching in new countries.

Patents

With around 30 patents filed, NW has always recognised the importance of intellectual property to the group’s technological sovereignty. One of its earliest patents, filed in October 2019, established NW as a pioneer in combining electricity storage with electric vehicle charging stations. To this day, NW retains exclusive rights to this technology. Building this technological sovereignty is highly complex. It requires significant investment and a high level of technological expertise.

The combination of project management, engineering and procurement enables us to divide responsibilities effectively. This structure gives us the confidence to move forward with our future projects such as expanding our product portfolio and entering new geographic markets.

Supply chain
& procurement

Our in-house legal team drafts, reviews and finalises contracts for each product with our partners. These contracts enable us to manage contractual risks and monitor the fulfilment of commitments. Our procurement strategy is defined in advance, allowing us to manage our contracts on a large scale.

Currently, the group is shifting towards build-to-print solutions, manufacturing products based on plans, assembly drawings and exact specifications, with no concept of co-development or additional expertise. This specification is key to achieving optimal performance and maintaining full control over each solution.

Systems Architect

As part of a commitment to continuous improvement, our systems architects develop detailed specifications for each product. Their expertise in project development enables them to leverage technical knowledge of all solutions and stay informed about technological innovations that could improve them.

Project manager

The project manager launches new products. He coordinates the various departments at NW. He also coordinates with our integrators and installers to guide the design of new products, oversee their certifications, and support the operational teams during the launch of new product lines. He also provides them with the digital tools needed to track the various stages of the process.

Quality manager

Based at our production facility, the quality manager performs quality checks at every stage of our products’ development. A final inspection report details the quality control procedures at the point of shipment. With Level 3 certification in operations and maintenance, this expert is skilled at resolving recurring design issues by applying solutions across our entire product portfolio.
